BURCO® THIX CB-1000 is used in bathroom hard surface cleaners (toilet, tub & tile cleaners, mildew removers). They can be used as laundry pre-spotters, floor and deck cleaners, drain openers, food and dairy equipment sanitizers.

BURCO® THIX CB-1000 is used in making Thickened Chlorine Bleach Cleaner formulation:
Below is the procedure for the formulation:
Add the N-Silicate and caustic soda (if needed) to deionized water (preferably warm). Add the Burco Thix CB-1000. Mix well without incorporating air into the batch. Add the desired amount of sodium hypochlorite solution. Mix until completely uniform and clear (30 – 60 minutes). Increase speed of agitation as product thickens. No addition of other surfactants is required or desired.
