Bures Professional FERTICOTE

FERTICOTE is a NPK 17-6-8 fertilizer with secondary macronutrients (Mn, 2%) and micronutrients. It is respectful with the environment, and it is especially recommended for bushes, trees and seasonal plants, both indoors and outdoors. It is also a good complement for those systems where fertilizers are added to the watering water.

Each particle is covered by a membrane, and contains all the micro and macronutrients of the fertilizer.

Does it free more nutrients than other fertilizers?

The important point of a fertilizer is not that it releases more or less nutrients, but that it releases the right amount for the plant. The higher the temperature, the more nutrients a plant needs. FERTICOTE adapts to this need, releasing more nutrients at higher temperatures.

Product Highlights

FERTICOTE series offers different longevities depending on when the 80% of the Nitrogen has been released, at 25ºC (4ºC more than other fertilizers). We have membranes of 3, 6, 9 or 12 months (M).

Example: 3M means the fertilizar releases 80% of the Nitrogen over 3 months, as long as the mean temperature is 25ºC

If the temperature is lower, the product will last Langer. This is why it’s very important to know the temperatures at which the growing system is held, to e able to recommend the right membrane. The thickness of the membrane does not change; the release depends on its porosity and the release-stimulator agent.

To know how long the fertilizar will last you need to know the following:

Period of farming.
Mean temperature at night and at day.
Color and kind of pott.
Indoor or outdoor farming.
Watering system and quantities.

If the fertilization is taken as a complement of other fertilizers, the doses will reduce. Each case will be studied to fit the client’s needs and specifications.
