- Storage & Handling
- Storage Stability: In sealed original packing 25 months from production date, see remarks below**).
- Storage Conditions: Room temperature (max. 25°C)
- Annotations: Content is valid for the day of production.
**) The content stays within the specification limits for 25 months in sealed original packages. At longer storage the content decreases slowly with a rate of 0.1 to 0.3 % per year. In opened containers the product shows accelerated decrease in content due to access of oxygen and the sensitivity to moisture (cf. storage conditions). The main reason for the slow decrease in content in sealed PE-containers is the oxidation of thioglycolate to dithiodiglycolate under separation of water due to oxygen permeation through the container material. The original package contains desiccant on top of the inner bag because of the moisture sensitivity of the substance.
- Handling Guidelines: Consult the appropriate Safety Data Sheet for safety and handling guidelines for this product.
