Milled carbon fiber is specially processed PAN based fiber suitable for the applications that require strength and/or electrostatic dissipation. Milled carbon fiber is excellent for making materials electrically conductive. Typical applications include computer components, sealing, parts for electronic devices, conductive flooring, adhesives, powders and dry mixtures etc.
It can compound with resin, plastics, metal, rubber, in order to increase the strength of the material and the wear resistance. It has been widely used in electronic chips, conductive plates, electronic machinery, anti-static products, conductive flooring, conductive paint, anti-static filters, national defense areas, building insulation and more.
The typical range of fiber lengths is from 60 to 120 microns in length depending on the grade.
