Technical Details & Test Data
- Carbon Footprint
The term carbon footprint is normally defined as the total greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions caused by an activity or organization expressed as carbon dioxide equivalent. Using a cradle-to-gate approach we compared Dispelair® P 540 with a standard powder FCA for the construction industry. Calculations were made using the latest UK Government GHG Conversion Factors for Company Reporting.
Results for carbon dioxide equivalent per ton of product (kgCO2e/T) can be seen in the table below:
FCA kgCO₂e/T Fossil-based carbon (%) Standard 2050 27 Dispelair® P 540 1190 2 Dispelair® P 540 has a much lower carbon footprint than the standard product and contains a significantly lower percentage of fossil-based carbon.
- Performance Data
Both Dispelair® P 540 and the standard product were tested at 0.1 wt. %(of dry mix) in a self-leveling compound. The average flow (EN 12706) and air removal were very similar for both products.
