In the hatchery, PoultryStar® accelerates the fast establishment of beneficial gut microbiota in your flocks. Similarly, it supports birds overall as they grow and can be used in specific cases e.g. to re-establish balanced gut microbiota during post-antibiotic application.

WATER APPLICATION: POULTRYSTAR® SOL

  • PoultryStar® sol is applied to drinking water and can be used across all poultry production systems (broilers, layers and breeders) and under different environments. The application is flexible and recommended during critical and stressful periods of the production cycle.

FEED APPLICATION: POULTRYSTAR® ME

  • PoultryStar® me is a microencapsulated form for feed application which allows the product to withstand high temperatures used in pelleted feed

NEW-GEL APPLICATION: POULTRYSTAR® HATCHERY

  • PoultryStar® Hatchery is a gel droplet application designed to be applied to day-old-chicks at the hatchery. This application minimizes stress, stimulates early feeding behavior and seeds the gut with a specific synbiotic for a strong start.

Poultry Production Systems

PoultryStar® application in the hatchery for all day old chicks, regardless of their future production as a broiler, layer or breeder is where the establishment of beneficial microbiota should begin. 

In broilers, PoultryStar® application via the feed and water has been shown to improve broiler performance and reduce pathogen loads.

For layers or breeders in the pullet rearing phase, PoultryStar® application results in improved flock uniformity and achievement of the breed standards for body weight and composition.

For layers or breeders in the egg laying phase, PoultryStar® application results in increased egg numbers and egg quality, particularly in egg shell hardness and reduction in pathogen loads. 

For home or backyard layers, the use of PoultryStar® offers the same benefits in improving gut health and subsequent effects on egg quality and quantity.
