BIOGRUND’s one-step binding agent CompactCel® provides an easy to use, granulated and homogeneous compound of PVP/NaCMC or HPC/NaCMC, which acts as a perfect dry binder. CompactCel® increases the hardness and improves the friability of the tablet. BIOGRUND recommends using 2–5% within the core formulation to achieve best results. Both compositions can be used for pharmaceutical and nutritional applications.

CompactCel® is also available in some formulations which are certified with the USDA- and EU-label for organic food.Therefore, it is well suited for organic nutritional supplements.The mix of selected organic ingredients increases the hardness and improves the friability of the tablet as well as the compaction.

carnauba wax can be used to achieve an
excellent glossy finishing. Under the principle
of friction, a brilliant gloss/shine will be
realized, which leads to an esthetic valorization for sugar-coated tablets.

additives and additional excipients.
It is a homogeneous, dry-milled,
powdered compound, developed for

TopMill® is a ready-to-use master
batch, developed for the coloring
of all kinds of solid dosage forms. It
can be used in powder or liquid in a
simple and easy way. The optimized
composition is easily soluble, and a
reproducible high-quality color can

compatibility with other excipients
and active ingredients, tailor-made
solutions are possible – a unique
appearance for your products!

application of Hypromellose is film coating. The
fine, homogeneous blends of selected high quality
cellulose ether polymers provide excellent film forming
properties and sustained release profiles. A wide
range of standard viscosities is offered to deal with
different application requirements. Additionally,
BIOGRUND offers an exclusive service by finely
adjusting viscosities.

It is a unique, aqueous or organic
dispersion of colors with additional
excipients.

dispersions and chewing gums. It
can be used in liquids in a simple
and easy way.

BonuTab® contains fillers, binders,
disintegrant, lubricants and – if
required – pigments for coloring
issues. According to customer needs
and depending on active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) the components of the premix can be individually adapted. An optimization of
the tablet formulation can be done.

IsuPolish® FSC is a unique, dry milled, homogeneous blend of hypromellose, Isomalt or sucrose, pigments and additional excipients. Compared to a traditional sugar-coating process this product assists you to speed up the production process.

AquaPolish® HS is a combination of film-forming polymer METHOCEL™ Premium VLV with plasticizing and coloring additives. The very low viscosity of HPMC enables high solid content dispersions for high speed productivity.

CompactCel® FLO is a flow agent for loosening powder mixtures and improving flowability. The ready-touse powder compound replaces synthetic additives such as silicon dioxide. It prevents bridge formation during flow from hopper and provides a clean funnel flow of the powder mass to be processed during both tableting and capsule filling.

BIOGRUND’s one-step matrix agent CompactCel® SR provides an easy-to-use compound which controls the sustained release of active ingredients. CompactCel® SR forms a gel, through which the active ingredient diffuses. The use of NaCMC accelerates the gel-forming process, so the initial drug release is reduced.
