Since the day BioChem was founded in 1984, our primary focus has been to replace hazardous chemicals in the workplace with safe alternatives, without compromising effectiveness. The legacy line of BioChem products originated with a request to replace 1, 1, 1 trichloroethane (TCA). BioChem quickly went to work with the primary objective of developing a product that cleaned as well as, or better than, TCA. This product had to be biodegradable and safe for workers and the environment. It could not contain chlorinated solvents, petroleum products, acids, caustics, or other hazardous chemicals. After one year of detailed lab testing and field evaluations, BioChem’s first product, Alpha-Bio T, was developed. Later that same year, the product was renamed Bio T Max.

Over 30 years later, BioChem has an extensive line of products developed with patented processes and technologies. We differentiate ourselves by doing more than simply selling products; we also serve as a trusted consultant for detailed cleaning strategies.

Bio T Max® is the ultimate organic, fully concentrated, high strength solvent degreaser. Bio T Max® ’s concentrated formula goes to work quickly with little effort, allowing you to easily rinse with water. It effectively cleans without harming substrates; enamel, brass, Formica, copper, porcelain and more. Bio T Max® is an eco-friendly and non-hazardous solvent degreaser – safe for workers and the environment.

Tarpedo® is specially formulated for the paving industry, Tarpedo® destroys coal tar sealer. Tarpedo® is a full-strength, non-aqueous, non-citrus formulation that removes ready-mix and concentrated coal tar sealers, adhesives, grease, oil, and other tough contaminants. It is ideal for cleaning sealer and paving equipment, hand tools, maintenance vehicles and other related equipment.

SolSafe 245® is a premier parts washing solvent with up to 6 times longer bath life. SolSafe 245® is a non-water, high strength, non-hazardous parts washing solvent that has up to 6 times longer bath life in parts washers when compared to mineral spirits. Safe for precision parts, it dries residue free, making it an ideal cleaner prior to painting, coating, bonding, plating, machining, and polishing.

VPRX® is used to dramatically expedite railroad tank car cleaning and reduce waste volumes. VPRX® is proprietary, fully organic solvents formulated to speed up cleaning of railroad tank cars and reduce waste volumes by 90%. The patented chemical and application technology focuses on a vapor phase system that can eliminate the need to place personnel inside the car. They have a high solvency strength (150 kb – 4x the strength of diesel), effectively removing the toughest contaminants.
