- Recommended Uses
- Designed as a nutritional supplement for calves at shipping, during fluid loss and when diarrhea is present.
- Supplies dietary fibers, electrolytes and beneficial microbial cultures.
- Feeding Directions
- (1 scoop = 1 ounce) For calves with fluid deficiency, continue feeding milk at alternate times (at least 30 minutes) after feeding PectiLyte with water. Consult veterinarian for proper drenching/tubing procedures.
- Daily Maintenance: Mix 1 oz. PectiLyte / 2 quarts warm water, milk or milk replacer. Feed once or twice daily.
- At Receiving: Mix 1 to 2 oz. PectiLyte / 2 quarts warm water once or twice daily at alternate times to milk or milk replacer.
- Slight Fluid Deficiency: Mix 2 to 4 oz. PectiLyte / 2 quarts warm water twice daily.
- Moderate Fluid Deficiency: Mix 4 oz. PectiLyte / 2 quarts warm water two to three times daily.
- When to Use
Broad nutritional support for calves with diarrhea that typically respond poorly to other products.
