OC12: Supports and stabilizes intestinal health with specially formulated monolauric acid, highly effective oregano oil and highly effective natural-based antioxidants.
- Supporting the immune system – stabilizing the intestinal flora
BERGIN® Proviplus OC12 is a supplementary feed for breeding sows, piglets and fattening pigs to strengthen the immune system and stabilize the intestinal flora To support and stabilize intestinal health and to strengthen the general defenses (immunity).
Monolauric acid:
(manufactured using a patented process) is particularly effective:
- Monolauric acid has antiviral and antibacterial properties.
- Monolauric acid works against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria and has a very good effect against streptococci.
- Monolauric acid destroys lipid-coated viruses by binding to the lipid protein that coats the virus.
- Monolauric acid has a proven effect against the following bacteria:
- Streptococci, types A, B, F and G
- Chlamydia
- Streptococcus aureus
- Heliobacter
- Clostridia
- Salmonella
- Listeria
- Vibrios
Special oregano oil:
Special oregano oil has many functional properties:
- has an appetizing effect;
- stimulates local defenses in the intestine;
- stabilizes the intestinal flora and suppresses potential harmful germs;
- has an antimicrobial effect against the following pathogens, among others:
- Clostridia (Clostridium perfringens)
- E.coli (F41, K88)
- Salmonella (Salmonella typhimurium)
The antimicrobial effect is based on physical damage to the cell wall, the cells lose water and the germs die.
Highly Effective Antioxidants:
on a natural basis: The combination of propyl gallate, tocopherols and citric acid in a special formulation
- protects against tissue damage (cell membranes),
- reduces the risk of infection,
