Founded in February 1999, Bergen International was created by former employees and agents of a major chemicals company that was a leading manufacturer and supplier of chemical foaming agents for the plastics industry.

The company’s staff has extensive experience in the plastics industry with strong emphasis in the development of foams.

Bergen is dedicated to building a strong customer base with its versatile product line...development of new chemical foaming agent products...and outstanding customer service.

Our Foamazol™ chemical foaming agent product line of powders, masterbatches and liquids is manufactured in the U.S. and distributed by sales agencies and representatives in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Europe.

In the future, we plan to begin additional manufacturing overseas for our European customers.

Foamazol™ 63 is intended for extruded ribbons and sheets where very fine celled foam is desirable.

Foamazol™ 63

Foamazol™ 61 is intended for applications where maximum density reduction is required at relatively low processing temperatures. It is suitable for low pressure structural foam, injection molding, and extrusion.

Foamazol™ 71 is intended for applications that require very fine and uniform cell structure for both chemical and direct gas foam systems.

Foamazol™ 71

Foamazol™ 72 is intended for applications that require a very fine and uniform cell structure for with relatively smooth skins.

Foamazol™ 50 is recommended for applications where a relatively fine cell structure is required at processing temperatures about 175-230° C (347-446° F)

Foamazol™ 60 is recommended for applications where relatively high temperatures are used in the range of 205-275° C (401-527° F).

Foamazol™ 91 is intended for applications where lower processing temperatures are used that require uniform cell structure with good density reduction.
