"The N. Benasedo Spa was founded in 1959, when the founder Nino Benasedo set up a natural oil processing plant in industrial products in Caronno Pertusella, just north of Milan.

The development and evolution of N. Benasedo SpA will begin with the entry of a young chemist, Mr. Valerio Scocco, current President of the Company.

He will introduce and carry out the production of synthetic resins for paints and inks and, at the disappearance of the founder, he will take the lead with capacity and spirit always innovative. The production of synthetic resins will allow the company to immediately establish itself in the sector of wood coatings, for construction and industry; the wide range of quality and specialty products now allows the Benasedo brands to represent a complete range of resins for paint products.

From the beginning, a primary feature of company policy is a great attention to the demands of the vast market but also to those of the individual customer.

The entry in 2002 into the Benasedo Group of the Poliresin company, a plant in Pozzolo Formigaro (Alessandria), has made it possible to further expand global production and the range of products available."

BENASOL

BENASOL FL 40 is a non yellowing, slightly thixotropic high-molecular weight alkyd resin, endowed with very good flow, fast drying and wide compatibility with medium-long-oil alkyd resins. In combination with medium-oil alkyd resins, is suitable for sealers, matt and semi-glossy paints employed in building and costruction industries endowed with good outdoor resistance properties.

Benasol 4 V is a very fast air drying alkyd resin phenolic modified having good through dry. It is especially recommended for rust-inhibitive metal and nitrocellulose non lifting primers, fast air–drying enamels for farm and industrial equipment.

BENASOL AS 308 in XYLENE is a medium-oil non–yellowing alkyd resin having fast trough drying, good gloss, hardness, adhesion and outdoor resistance. It is suitable to produce enamels for building and industrial applications, also in combination with chlorinated rubber, for farm machinery enamels, when sudden outdoor exposure is required.

BENASOL CO 37 by Benasedo SpA is a short-oil alkyd resin based on special fatty acids. BENASOL CO 37 is used as a very fast non-yellowing air-drying enamels with air applications for exterior, particularly for farm equipment.

BENASOL AS 453 is an air-drying low-viscosity, non-yellowing alkyd resin especially modified so to guarantee very good wetting properties with pigments, fillers and wide compatibility with various binder types used in different formulations.

BENASOL CO 34 is an alkyd resin with a particular molecular structure,endowed with very fast drying properties, good performances in adhesion,hardness and through-dry. It is suggested to formulate industrial sealer and finishes, i.e. machinery,aerosol enamels,traffic-paints.

BENASOL CO 35 by Benasedo SpA is a short-oil alkyd resin based on soya fatty acids. It exhibits fast-air drying enamels with air applications. BENASOL CO 35 is used in industrial applications and traffic-paints.

BENASOL HS 753 is a non yellowing alkyd resin, endowed with good air drying, gloss and color retention. It is suggested for white and colored air-drying enamels with high solid content, in the building sector and for internal and external maintenance.

BENASOL AS 379 is used in fast air-drying white and colored enamels for industrial applications. It is made from special fatty acids with 43% oil content and 60% solids content. This product has a viscosity [G.H.] of Z1-Z2, an A.V. solids amount of 6-12 and a color [G.H.] maximum of 5. It has application for air.
