Caution: feeding undiluted or mixing errors may result in an excess lasalocid concentration which could be fatal to cattle and sheep. Do not allow horses or other equines access to type a articles or type b feeds containing lasalocid as ingestion may be fatal. Safety of lasalocid for use in unapproved species has not been established. Limitations: in type c feeds; for sheep maintained in confinement; feed continuously in complete feed to provide not less than 15 mg nor more than 70 mg of lasalocid sodium activity per head per day depending on body weight. Warning: do not permit intake of supplemental selenium to exceed 0.3 ppm on a complete ration basis. Additional feeding directions and further ingredient information will be furnished by nutritionist. Feeding directions to be mixed at the rate of 500 lbs with 1500 pounds of grain to supply 30 gm of lasalocid per complete ton of feed. Daily feed intake per lamb is to be 1 lb to 4.6 lbs of the complete mixed feed to supply 15 mg to 70 mg of lasalocid per day. Make all ration changes gradual. Provide free-choice, loose, white salt and fresh, clean water at all times.
