Features & Benefits
- Industrial Additives Features
- Characteristics
- Good leveling and migration properties.
- Good build-up on tone .
- Good dispersing property.
- No effect on wet fastness and no effect on xenon light fastness.
- No foam contribution during HT dyeing process.
- Improves migration of even the most difficult, high molecular size, disperse dyestuffs.
- Product Benefits
- Combined dispersing and leveling agent stable to high temperature, thus ensuring effective dispersing power in the cooling dye bath.
- Promotes a more uniform exhaustion and build-up of dye combinations. Helps compensate for lack of compatibility of dyes in mixtures used because of economy or particular fastness properties.
- Supports anti-filtration in dense package dyeing.
- Does not impair fastness standard. Recommended for automotive fabrics.
- Excellent performance in high turbulence systems without risk on antifoam stains.
- Improved 'right-first-time' dyeing and increased productivity.

- Application Guidelines
- Dissolving/Diluting: Adding it to 4-5 times of its weight in warm water and stirring will dissolve DYE-AIO
- Required amount:
- The amount of DYE-AIO required depends on the depth of the shade, type of PES and its quality and depends also on the type of machinery but will usually fall within the bandwith given below:
- High Temperature Exhaust Dyeing: 0.5- 2.0 g/I DYE-AIO [replace g/I with % of for liquor ratios below 1:10].
- The following basic procedure is suggested as a guide to use:
- Load machine with prepared fabric and commence heating upto 60°C.
- Add pre-diluted and other dyeing auxiliaries and chemicals Whilst circulating.
- Add prediluted dyestuffs, sieving or filtering as necessary.
- Rise to maximum dyeing temperature (130-140°C) as rapidly as recommended and hold as for thedyes. If shading additions are required it will not be necessary to add any extra amount of DYE-AIO.
- The following basic procedure is suggested as a guide to use:
- After Dyeing Rinse Or Reduction Clear As Required.
- Leveling of faulty dyeing (use liquor ratio > 1:1 0) 2-4 g/I DYE-AIO. Treat the fabric at 130°C - 150°C for 30 - 60 minutes.
- Note: For HT dyeing of PES, 0.5-2.0 g/l, DYE-AIO is generally enough. If the conditions are exceptionally critical, as with high package densities, low liquor circulation rates, etc. the amount can be increased to 3 – 5 g/l. Such high concentrations can slightly reduce the exhaustion of the disperse dyes. DYE-AIO does not contain any defoaming or antifoam agents. Preliminary trials with DYE-AIO are required.
