"ATL Composites was initially established in New Zealand in 1977, manufacturing WEST SYSTEM® epoxy products for the Asia Pacific region, under license to Gougeon Brothers Inc, USA. In 1980 ATL Composites expanded by opening a facility in Australia, and during this time, additional epoxy laminating and adhesive systems were developed and added to the range to service the professional boatbuilding market. In 1989, the Australian operation was re-located to Queensland and today, WEST SYSTEM® is manufactured by ATL in both New Zealand and Australia.

While remaining a leading supplier to the high performance yachting market, ATL Composites has used their knowledge in the performance of composite materials to diversify into other industries where there is also a demand for lighter, stronger, stiffer, more durable structures. Composite materials and engineering services are being provided for the manufacture of commercial ferries, road and rail transportation, industrial and architectural applications, resulting in improved performance and reduced production time, while specifically formulated liquid and filled epoxy systems are now supplied into the specialized fields of industrial tooling, electrical encapsulation, mining and automotive applications.

E-Fiberglass Welf Quadriaixial can be used in a variety of applications in the automotive, aerospace, construction, corrosive, industrial and marine industries. NCF is a composite reinforcing fabric in which fibers are organized into layers of plies of variable weight and orientation. The layers are stitched together. The result is a range of engineered fabrics with predictable, repeatable properties for the composite industry. Quadraxial Non-Crimp Fabrics provide excellent longitudinal, transverse, and shear strength. Providing a good thickness build-up per layer, Quadraxials are ideal for added strength with less layers. The quadraxial product is suitable for hand lay-up, vacuum bagging and resin infusion providing excellent wet-out on medium to large projects.

E-Fibreglass Welf Quadriaixial

E-Fiberglass Welf Triaxial can be used in a variety of applications in the automotive, aerospace, construction, corrosive, industrial and marine industries. NCF is a composite reinforcing fabric in which fibers are organized into layers of plies of variable weight and orientation. The layers are stitched together. The result is a range of engineered fabrics with predictable, repeatable properties for the composite industry. Triaxial Transverse (Weft Triaxial) Non-Crimp Fabrics are ideal for applications that require a combination of high transverse and shear strength and stiffness, and some longitudinal strength. The combination of straight, non-woven fibers and high glass volume fractions give superior properties at lower weight. This triaxial product is suitable for hand lay-up, vacuum bagging of relatively flat components (minimum curvature radius approximately 15mm), vacuum injection and other RTM-processes.

E-Fiberglass Warp Triaxial can be used in a variety of applications in the automotive, aerospace, construction, corrosive, industrial and marine industries. NCF is a composite reinforcing fabric in which fibers are organized into layers of plies of variable weight and orientation. The layers are stitched together. The result is a range of engineered fabrics with predictable, repeatable properties for the composite industry. Triaxial Longitudinal (Warp Triaxial) Non-Crimp Fabrics are ideal for applications that require a combination of high longitudinal and shear strength and stiffness, and some transverse strength. Ideal for laterally loaded panels with aspect ratio from 1 .5 to ∞. This triaxial product is suitable for hand lay-up, vacuum bagging of relatively flat components (minimum curvature radius approximately 15mm), vacuum injection and other RTM-processes.

E-Fibreglass Warp Triaxial

E-Fiberglass Biaxial can be used in a variety of applications in the automotive, aerospace, construction, corrosive, industrial and marine industries. NCF is a composite reinforcing fabric in which fibers are organized into layers of plies of variable weight and orientation. The layers are stitched together. The result is a range of engineered fabrics with predictable, repeatable properties for the composite industry. Longitudinal and Transverse (Biaxial) Non-Crimp Fabrics are Often used in the marine industry. They have similar fiber orientations to woven roving and combination woven roving / mat products, but do not have the fiber crimp associated with those woven products. This provides superior mechanical properties, particularly under fatigue loads. Biaxial (00/900) fabrics are available in much heavier weights than woven products. This speeds the cutting and laminating process, which saves significant fabrication costs. These materials are ideal in any application that requires optimum strength in two perpendicular directions. This product is suitable for hand lay-up, vacuum bagging of relatively flat components, vacuum injection, and other RTM-processes.

E-Fibreglass Biaxial

E-Fiberglass Unidirectional have the highest strength and stiffness of any reinforcement construction. However, this strength is only in the principal direction. These materials are ideal for strengthening a laminate in a particular direction. They are usually used with other materials that provide the required strength and stiffness in the other directions. Unidirectional fabrics are ideal for components with unidirectional loads, such as beams, flanges, etc.

E-Fibreglass Unidirectional

E-Fiberglass Double Bias can be used in a variety of applications in the automotive, aerospace, construction, corrosive, industrial and marine industries. NCF is a composite reinforcing fabric in which fibers are organized into layers of plies of variable weight and orientation. The layers are stitched together. The result is a range of engineered fabrics with predictable, repeatable properties for the composite industry. The fiber orientation in the Double-Bias Non-Crimp Fabrics, ±450, is the optimum construction to provide high shear strength and stiffness. These materials are ideal for providing torsion stiffness in tubular constructions, or shear strength in the webs of beams or in stiffeners. As well as laterally loaded panels with aspect ratios from 1 to 3. Double-bias fabrics are also ideal products to use as tabbing material when bonding laminates together. This product is suitable for hand lay-up, vacuum bagging, vacuum injection, and other RTM- processes the fabric is very drapable and conforms well to complex geometry components.
