• Since this product contains refractory components and is metal-free, any residue will have little effect on the sand.
• ThermSul Top 68.3 may also help to prevent any skulling of the slag on the pouring ladle walls, when used on top of the molten metal bath.

• In riser applications, light density residue will generally separate out into the dust collection system at shakeout.
• In ladle applications, this topping keeps the slag from sticking to the ladle walls, eliminating severe slag scraping or clean-up.

It can be used on open transfer ladles, large bottom-pour ladles, and teapot ladles.
