Antimussol® BP liquid is a very effective defoamer and paper stock deaerator. It is very persistent, therefore one addition point normally gives good foam control throughout the system. It assists in the clean running of the paper machine since it helps disperse soil flotation, and it does not contribute to pitch accumulation. Antimussol® BP liquid does not affect sizing or paper strength when used at normal addition levels. Antimussol® BP liquid being a fluid water based emulsion is easy to use.
