COMBO® can be added directly to an on-the-farm mix or incorporated as part of a dry premix (max moisture 15%) to give the required feeding rate. Do not allow this product to remain in moist feed for more than 12 hours.
- Recommended Usage Rates
- Dairy: Calculate feeding rate to give 0.75 oz. (21 grams) per head per day starting 30 days before freshening and continuing throughtout the lactation cycle. For stress conditions such as high daytime temperatures, increase feeding rate to 1 oz. (28 grams) per head per day.
- Calves: Feed 0.50 oz. (14 grams) per head per day starting at first solid feed.
- Beef: Feed at the rate of 2-3 lbs./ton (1-1.5 Kg./M.T.) of finished feed.
- Swine: Feed 2-3 lbs. per ton (1-1.5 Kg./M.T.) of finished feed to the growing and finishing stock from first solid feed through finishing. Feed 1-1.5 lbs./ton (0.50-0.75 Kg./M.T.) of finished feed to all breeding stock. Experience may indicate that these feeding rates can be reduced or should be increased by 25%.
- Poultry: Add at the rate of 2-3 lbs./ton (1-1.5 Kg./M.T.) of finished feed.
- Horses: Feed 0.50 oz. (14 grams) daily in the P.M. feeding bucket.
- Sheep/Goats: Feed at the rate of 2-3 lbs./ton (1-1.5 Kg./M.T.) of finished feed.

- Alpha Amylase - One alpha-amylase dextrinizing unit (DU=SKB) is the quantity of α-amylase that will dextrinize soluble starch in the presence of an excess of beta-amylase at the rate of 1 gram per hour at 30°C.
- Bacterial Amylase - One bacterial amylase unit (BAU) is defined as that quantity of enzyme which will dextrinize one milligram of starch per minute at pH 6.6 and 30°C.
- Cellulase - One cellulase unit (CU) is defined as the amount of activity that will produce a relative fluidity change of 1 in 5 minutes in a defined carboxymethyl cellulose substrate under the conditions of the assay (pH4.5 and 40°C).
