Uses
in single pack varnishes with outstanding abrasion resistance
Applications
- SETAQUA® PU F125 is especially suited to formulate low VOC water-white vanishes with an excellent balance of overall properties.
- SETAQUA® PU F125 has been developed to achieve outstanding abrasion resistance for use in single pack varnishes. Taber values are similar to outcomes seen for traditional solventbased 1K aromatic moisture cure urethanes. SETAQUA® PU F125 can be blended with acrylics when considered for cost performance balance and is recommended for both DIY and Contractor applied finishes as well as industrial wood finishes. SETAQUA® PU F125 is NMP and APEO free.
- Optimally formulated DIY and contractor applied varnishes based on SETAQUA® PU F125 dry and cure rapidly after application, so resulting in a short re-coat time allowing the application of multiple coats in a day. The cured varnish forms a tough, clear warm toned and durable film with excellent clarity offering superb resistance to water, diluted alkalis and acids, alcohol, most household cleaners and other organic solvents along with excellent BHMR. It is recommended for use on timber floors and wood furniture finishes and paneling.
