Free-phenol-content <5%, curing at temperatures as low as 5°C. Good chemical-resistance. Coatings, adhesives, laminates. Accelerator for low reactive hardeners.
- Suggested Uses and Processing Information
- In combination with liquid epoxy resins BECKOPOX™ EH 624 is especially suited for formulating very well chemical resistant container linings, flooring compounds and coatings for steel structures.
- The curing agent has a high reactivity in thin films as well as in highly filled systems. Even at low temperatures and high humidity a hard tack-free surface is obtained. It is also used for improving the reactivity of cycloaliphatic polyamines such as BECKOPOX™ EH 637.
MIXING RATIO AND POT LIFE
A blend of 100 g BECKOPOX™ EP 140 and 43 g BECKOPOX™ EH 624 starts to gel at 23°C after approx. 20 - 25 minutes.
