Always follow pesticide manufacturer’s label directions. Alligare COC is compatible with most oil-soluble herbicides. Check the particular brand labels to be sure that use with a crop oil is not prohibited on the label.
Brush Control: For weed and brush control foliage sprays, use 1 gallonAlligare COC per 100 gallons of finished spray. For increased efficacy in late season sprays, use 2 gallons per 100 gallons.
Aerial & Ground Sprays Using 5-50 Gallons/Acre: Use 1 to 2 pints Alligare COC per acre in sufficient volume to provide good plant coverage with the equipment used. To increase coverage of mid to late season sprays add 1 to 2 quarts per acre. Do not exceed 2.5% v/v concentration.
Since Alligare COC may increase the activity of herbicides, care should be exercised in applying it with herbicides to new varieties or highly inbred lines or under weather conditions, such as high temperatures and high humidity which tend to increase herbicide activity. The use of test areas is recommended if these conditions prevail. Due to variation in natural water compositions, formulations by brand, and types of agitation, pre-testing of the intended tank mixture is recommended.
- Mixing
Fill spray tank one-half full of water, add the desired amount of herbicide and continue filling. Add correct amount of Alligare COC last and continue agitation.
