"In Norway, beyond the Arctic Circle, in one of the purest habitats in the world, we have been harvesting and processing Ascophyllum nodosum with great passion for over 80 years.

Because this seaweed undergoes strong climate stress due to being sometimes exposed to the sun and bad weather and other times immersed into freezing Arctic waters it developed active components of the highest quality and purity. We harvest Ascophyllum nodosum following a strict process to preserve its quality, with tools and technologies that are so advanced that they leave the environment completely unchanged.
Processing takes place near harvesting areas to keep all the properties intact. As well as our first site, we have built a new ultra-modern plant to process seaweed.

AlgeaFert Solid G is an extract of Ascophyllum nodosum, a valuable seaweed from the Arctic sea. The production process takes place at low temperatures in order to preserve some specific nutritional elements. This process gives the product a different color as well as a greater compatibility with acid products. AlgeaFert Solid G is Omri certified, which means it complies with high quality standards and can be used as an ingredient in fertilizers intended for organic farming.This is a valuable asset for formulators who wish to develop products aimed to the American organic market, also because controls are faster on OMRI certified products.

AlgeaFeed 3.5 is made by drying and grinding the valuable Arctic seaweed Ascophyllum nodosum, which is particularly suitable for sheep, poultry, pigs, cattle and pets; this comes in a 3.5 mm size.

AlgeaFeed Horse is a natural food for horses and ponies, made up of the brown seaweed Ascophyllum nodosum, which is dried and ground to give a fine meal. In addition to mineral nutrients, vitamins and fibers, the product is a good source of iodine that positively stimulates the equine metabolism. Its size excludes any particles smaller than 125 microns, which could be inhaled, disturbing the horse’s breathing.

AlgeaFert Solid K+ is an extract of Ascophyllum nodosum, a brown Arctic seaweed, in solid alkaline form. This form allows a superior quantity of NPK elements. The extraction process is carefully controlled in order to assure the utmost degree of solubilisation and top seaweed extract quality.AlgeaFert Solid K+ represents an excellent ingredient for special fertilizers or biostimulants.

AlgeaFert Base Micro is the new seaweed suspension of Ascophyllum nodosum a valuable Arctic seaweed. Algea with a controlled and guaranteed granulometry: 80% of the ingredient is under 80 micron and 20% is above. According to literature, they show an activity on the plant’s different metabolic processes, tested with genomic approach, so that it maintains the physiological and intra/ inter-cellular equilibrium. AlgeaFert Base micro also can help the response to environmental stress, strengthening the plant natural defense system.The pH 5 guarantees a good miscibility and formulation compatibility.

AlgeaFeed 1.4 is the Norwegian seaweed meal made by drying out and then grinding the Ascophyllum nodosum, keeping valuable nutrients and active substances.The 1.4 mm size is recommended to feed cattle, poultry, sheep, pigs and pets.

AlgeaFert Meal is a seaweed meal obtained from pure Ascophyllum nodosum, a brown alga that grows in the pure habitat of the Arctic regions. This formulation is perfect as a soil amendment, promoting both soil aeration and water drainage. It is also a valuable additive to NPK fertilizers and it can be distributed directly over the soil or mixed with other products as an insoluble element.

AlgeaFert Meal

AlgeaFert Liquid K+ is an extract of Arctic seaweed Ascophyllum nodosum in liquid, alkaline form. Its high concentration of seaweed extract (32% in terms of weight/weight) allows the maximum content of nutrients. The micronutrients are naturally chelated, so that they can be more easily assimilated by plants. The high miscibility makes it an excellent ingredient for special fertilizers, either for foliar or root application, or for hydroponic treatments.
