We manufacture and supply a range of quality, innovative, nutritional forage products for livestock farmers in Ireland. What started as a seed assembly plant over the years has developed into a complete manufacturing, research and distribution center. Our products are manufactured in a purpose built 50,000 sq ft factory and warehouse facility in Nenagh where we also invest in on-going research, product development and manufacturing technology. This has been the foundation to earning a reputation for providing customers with products of the very highest quality, as it allows us to adapt and quality control all our products.

Welmin’s livestock mineral supplements command the highest respect from even the most discerning farmer user. They are manufactured to the highest specifications with particular emphasis on vitamin and trace element levels. Our main livestock mineral supplements are in powder form suitable for mixing with the diet of the animal. We also manufacture molassed mineral blocks and liquid mineral supplements for dosage through drinking water. Whatever the requirement there is a mineral to suit all needs.

Vitalac® Blue Calf Milk Replacer is a whey-based, water-soluble calf milk replacer containing 15% skim milk powder for feeding calves. The high protein content, consisting of a combination of whey and casein, is excellent for optimizing calf growth. It is fortified with immunoglobulins, to boost the calves’ immune response systems.

Tipperary Grass No 4A is specially formulated to produce high-yielding leafy pasture for intensive long-term grazing and high-quality silage. It has been refined over many years to now become a market leader playing a key role on grassland farms today ensuring that the maximum return is achieved from grass leys. It successfully encompasses all of the key traits required in a grass seed mixture for the modern grassland farmer.
