LUMIFLON® FE-4500

AGC Chemicals Americas, Inc. LUMIFLON® FE-45000 is a water emulsion product developed to enable formulators to meet VOC and HAPS regulations on many solvents in the US. This product has low hydroxyl functionality and is designed for use in single-component coatings. Like other LUMIFLON® resins, it is used to produce coatings with high gloss and excellent weatherability. This product can also be used in blends with standard acrylic resins to substantially improve weathering of these conventional products. LUMIFLON® polymers consist of alternating fluoroethylene and alkyl vinyl ether segments (FEVE). The fluorinated segments provide outstanding UV stability, weather resistance, and chemical resistance, while the vinyl ether segments provide solvent compatibility and crosslinking sites. These resins are used to make ultra-weatherable coatings for architectural, aerospace, automotive, and industrial maintenance markets.

Storage and Handling

Keep away from sunlight and rain. Floor surface of storage place should be made of non-permeable materials to the ground such as concrete. Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated location. Protect from freezing.
Wear appropriate safety glasses and gloves to avoid contact with eyes and skins. Hands should be washed thoroughly after handling. Suitable ventilation should be used during application.
