Afcona 3773

Fluorocarbon modified polyacrylate.

0.30 – 2.00% on total formulation. In general, under normal conditions, the dosage is 0.30 – 0.70% based on total formulation.

AFCONA-3773 should be added at the end of the batch preparation.

AFCONA-3773 is an acrylic modified fluorocarbon to be used for anti-crater, substrate wetting as well as perform leveling. AFCONA – 3773 have better compatibility and leveling performance comparing to our AFCONA 3777. A well balance between defoaming and leveling performances thus is a better choice for universal leveling agent.

AFCONA-3773:
1) no inter-coat adhesion problem
2) provides de-aeration and defoaming properties
3) improves leveling.
4) prevents craters and orange-peel.
5) helps substrate wetting.

Like AFCONA – 3773 are recommended for below systems:
1) All baking system for leveling and anti-crater purposes
2) All polyurethane system for leveling, anticrater and anti-foam purposes
3) Epoxy system for leveling and anti-crater performances.

AFCONA-3773 should be stored in a cool dry place. When kept in an original unopened container, it will keep up to 5 years from the date of manufacture. The expiry date is indicated on the container.
