To avoid foam- and bubble-formation AFCONA-2726 should be mixed at the beginning of the production/application into the system. If added at the end of the formulation, a good dispersion must be ensured.
- Addition and Dosage
0.5 – 1.5% on total formulation. In general under normal conditions, the dosage is 0.5% based on total formulation.

AFCONA – 2726 is a silicone-based product developed to produce rapid de-aeration of polyurethane and epoxy compounds used in flooring or general industrial application. This product also shows very effective defoaming in UPE system. Among all defoamer for high solid systems, in most cases, AFCONA – 2726 have the highest effectiveness in defoaming and de-aeration. AFCONA - 2726 also acts as a very good leveling agent, giving a smooth surface to the coating. It functions differently from AFCONA 2722 as the silicone content is higher and the real active ingredient as defoamer is also higher. AFCONA-2726 is recommended for filled and unfilled polyurethane and epoxy compounds used in flooring application as well as UPE system
