Afcona 2725

Defoamer containing silicone-free polymer.

0.50 – 1.50% on total formulation. In general under normal conditions, the dosageis 1% based on total formulation.
For serious case combination of AFCONA– 2725 andAFCONA – 2038 at 1% each will solve most of the foam problem.

To avoid foam- and bubble-formation AFCONA-2725 should be mixed at the beginning of the production/application into the system. If it is added at the end of the formulation, a good dispersion must be ensured.

AFCONA – 2725 is tailor made as defoamer and AFCONA – 2725 has been developed to produce rapid de-aeration of solvent-free polyurethane and epoxy compounds used in flooring application. This product also shows very effective defoaming in UPE system. AFCONA – 2725 also act as very good defoamer in PMMA system for floor coating and pigment paste preparation. AFCONA - 2725 also acts as a leveling agent, giving a smooth surface to the coating.
AFCONA-2725 has low odor and is suitable to substitute AFCONA – 2722. In epoxy coating, combination with AFCONA – 2038 will increase the defoaming performance tremendously

AFCONA-2725 should be stored in a cool dry place. When kept in an original unopened container, it will keep up to 5 years from the date of manufacture. The expiry date is indicated on the container.
