- Characteristics
- Arginine is an important amino acid for growth and regeneration of skin and hair. The patented method to manufacture this “natural” surfactant allows to obtain a salt-free (NaCl) product, with very good foam properties and an excellent conditioning effect to the skin, leaving a moisturized feel. It is a gentle cleanser, safe for sensitive skin. The presence of L-Arginine nourishes the skin and the hair.
- Arginine has multiple benefits: It is a major precursor for NMF (Natural Moisturization Factor) of the epidermis, and aids in the repair of damaged tissue.
- AECOSOFT® ALM is plant derived and biodegradable. AECOSOFT® ALM is suitable for baby products and delicate skin products. Use level is from 5% to 30%. AECOSOFT® ALM is an excellent primary surfactant and can be used as a secondary surfactant to reduce the aggressiveness of other ingredients.

AECOSOFT® ALM may be used in a wide range of products: shampoos, facial washes, foam baths, liquid soaps, intimate detergents, etc. AECOSOFT® ALM is especially suited for products for sensitive skin and baby products. It exhibits excellent compatibility with many surfactants. It works as an excellent cosurfactant, moderating the aggressiveness of the primary surfactant, and increasing the safety of the formula.
