Emoliience

Easy Emulsification:
AE Ester® 99 has the advantage of being easy to emulsify. Its required HLB is around11.8 to 0.3 with an emulsifying pair of the sorbitan/polysorbate ester type. Without adding a stabilizing agent, it is possible, under these conditions to obtain an emulsion which is stable for more than a month at 50°C.
Compatibility with Silicon Oils:
- Miscible with Dimethicones in any proportions and can obtain clear and stable mixture through time
- No difficulty in incorporating into the formula with Dimethicones
- Excellent formulation of sun oils, baby oils or emulsions.
Skin Tolerance:
When tested in a pure form, under an occlusive dressing, according to the guidelines laid down in the OECD directive N 404, AE Ester® 99 appears to be well tolerated by the skin.
