Application:
Medicated CGS base is a solid (block), hot melt and pour foaming compound to manufacture transparent bars. The CGS base is a perfect combination of skin mildness and clarity, to create perfectly cleansing and foaming bars.

Storage:
The CGS base should not be stored at temperatures under 0°C for a long period.
Handling
- Melt CGS base at a temperature between 65 – 70 °C
- Add perfume, color, pigments, exfoliators, actives, etc. when the base is melted (make sure that the pH value is not changed)
- Avoid water loss during melting and pouring–-this could have an influence on the transparency.
- Avoid addition of too much water–-this could also have an influence on the transparency.
- Pour into molds
- Silicon molds are advisable
- Can be poured into blister packs
- Solidification could take 0.5 – 4 hours, depending on the material of the molds, size of the bar and the ambient temperature
- Cooling tunnel can also be used in production to speed solidification
