ADDICHEM 8894 is developed specifically for engine oils used in older diesel engines or off-road applications. This technically advanced additive package can be used for blending a range of cost effective diesel engine oils meeting API CD to API CF-4/CF/SF performance level. ADDICHEM 8894 is applicable for both mono and multigrade oils. By design the package has a high Base Number, so oils blended to the API CF level have a BN in excess of 9 (mg KOH/g). The BN can be boosted further by incorporating a ADDICHEM 6262 range TBN booster.
