Acti-Gel® 208 is a high quality, purified, self-dispersing hydrated magnesium aluminosilicate intended for high per-formance use as a binder, thixotrope, reinforcement additive and anti-settling agent.

Florigiel® HY rheology modifier is highly desired for use in oil well drilling mud, slurry trench walls and other geotechnical applications for its excellent stability in a salt or high ionic environment. It serves as an essential thixotropic thickener and suspension agent and meets API Specification 13A/ISO 13500.

Acti-Min™ Sunblock kaolin-based mineral product, when properly applied to plant leaves and fruit, forms a dry white barrier film that can provide protective benefits to agricultural crops. Through independent studies1 and a decade of Active Minerals’ Acti-Min kaolin products in commercial field experience, kaolin mineral film barriers have shown effectiveness in reducing plant stress, minimizing sunburn, and enhancing growth across a multitude of crops. This product is OMRI listed for organic use.

Acti-Cast® CM is a white-firing coarse grained air-float kaolin specially selected for the Sanitaryware industry and other applications where a fast casting clay is desired. The product is controlled to maintain low deflocculation rates, low soluble sulfates, and controlled particle size distribution so that dewatering rates and plasticity remain consistent and predictable.

MIN-U-GEL 400 is a hydrous magnesium aluminum silicate with gelling and rheological properties used to thicken and stabilize aqueous systems. MIN-U-GEL® 400 can be used alone or in conjunction with associative thickeners where a low shear thixotrope is needed to support the high shear thixotropy of the associative thickener. MIN-U-GEL® 400 was developed especially with controlled properties specifically to function as a binder during the production of molecular sieves.

Acti-Min® PG is a carefully produced, high quality, kaolin clay designed for the paint industry. It is also well suited to adhesives, sealants, and white rubber applications. Strict attention to the clay source and to process control assures a consistently high brightness and suitable particle size for the use in the contractor-grade paints. The naturally fine particle size of Acti-Min® PG keeps the +325 Mesh low and has a higher percentage of particles less than 0.5 microns compared to coarser clays. This size distribution allows the paint formulator to maximize the hiding power of titanium dioxide (TiO2), while reducing overall formulation cost.

Crown Clay is a high quality, air float, sedimentary, hard kaolin clay. Strict attention to production and quality control assures a high degree of product uniformity. Hard clays are very fine in their natural particle size. This limits how much hard clay can be incorporated into a rubber com-pound. Typical loading levels range from 20 to 150 phr. Hard clay provides high modulus, tensile strength, abrasion re-sistance, green strength and provides stiffness to elastomeric compounds.

Acti-Min® RG is a high quality, low residue, air floated sedimentary hard kaolin clay. Strict attention to production and quality control assures a high degree of product uniformity. Acti-Min RG is classified to a very low 325 mesh residue, making it suitable for any customers who may be sensitive to fine, non-kaolin residue. Hard Clays are very fine in their natural particle size. They provide high modules, tensile strength, abrasion resistance, green strength and stiffness to elasometric compounds.

Acti-Cast® AF is a white-firing coarse grained air-float kaolin specially selected for the Sanitaryware industry and other applications where a fast casting clay is desired. The product is controlled to maintain low deflocculation rates, low soluble sulfates and low sur-face area so that dewatering and plasticity remain consistent and predictable.

Liquid Acti-Gel® 208 is a high quality, purified magnesium aluminosilicate pre-dispersed in water and intended for high performance as a thixotrope, reinforcement additive and anti-settling agent in areas where the addition or metering of a liquid is preferable to using a dry powder.

MIN-U-GEL® 200 coarse grade is used in agricultural suspensions, such as liquid animal feed supplements, liquid suspension fertilizer, foliar sprays, and various ag chemicals such as wettable powders (WP), water-dispersible granules (WDG) and water-reducible (WR) pesticides. It is an EPA approved inert pesticide ingredient.
