Riobent is an organic derivative of Bentonite clay that acts as a rheological additive. It enables thermostable viscosity control, thixotropic flow, suspension control of pigments and actives, emulsion stabilization &amp; silky skin feel.

20 Microns pioneered unique processing methods and applications expertise for calcination along with fine particle technology, and today our fine particle Calcined Kaolins are the most widely used worldwide in numerous applications from Coatings to Plastics and Paper to Construction and Adhesives to Rubber and Wire &amp; Cable. Delivering the highest gloss, our ultra-fine Calcined Kaolins are the perfect complement in high Carbonate Coating formulations to optimize properties and Printability. 20 Microns offers a variety of Calcined Kaolins calcined at medium to high temperatures depending on end applications for its customers across the globe. Hyperfine is a specially developed ultrafine series of Calcined Kaolin recommended for MS polymers, Silicones, epoxies, urethanes etc. Its high oil absorption and brightness helps to achieve desired viscosity (i.e at low and high sheer) and replacement of costly opacifying additive like TiO2.

Hyperlite EST is a hydrophobic and easy dry technology multifunctional extender. Adopting a surface modification called salinization which creates chemically bonding water-repellent molecules to the surface, it is an easy dry multi-functional extender that helps to prevent water penetration in pores &amp; help fill the cavity in the capillaries and is cost-effective as it helps to partially replace your costly silicon resin in the system.

Micron Carb is our range of calcium carbonate ranging from 1µ - 63µ. It can be used as a filler pigment, making possible the production of a whiter, higher quality pigment than other minerals. It is also used in various adhesives and sealants as a whitening agent, improving gap-filling properties in the formulation.

Our brand “Basofix” for Whiter Shades is an inspiring innovation from 20 MICRONS with an ultra-fine average particle size of 0.7 microns specially developed for paint, powder coating and pigments manufacturing application. Special production methods and various inorganic treatments now permit customized solutions for the most diverse range of problems/applications. Basofix minimizes the noise level is acoustic pipes due to its higher specific gravity and provides excellent sound dampening. Basofix Micro performs brilliantly in automotive and powder coatings with its ideal optical characteristics and also providing protection by being mechanically and chemically stable.

Zinkomer series of activators are uniquely developed products, thereby exhibiting better processability, lowering mixing time, improving dispersion, maintaining excellent rheo properties, heat aging properties, and mechanical properties. These products replace Zinc Oxide 100% as an activator for rubber. Last but not the least these are techno commercially and immensely beneficial as compared to conventional white seal and active products. Zinkomer is an innovative excellence which is a replacement to ZnO white seal. It is an efficient activator.

Bentonite is a natural occurrence material dominantly the Clay Mineral Montmorillonite. It is having a layered structure that possesses High Swelling properties and High Cation exchange capacities. When in contact with water it expands up to Twenty to Forty times its dry volume. Depending upon the dominant exchangeable cations present the clay may be referred as Calcium Bentonite or Sodium Bentonite, the two varieties exhibiting different properties and thus, uses. There are three main characteristics of Bentonite that make it commercially useful. They include Thixotropy, Swelling, and Adsorption.

With a unique and distinctive combination of particle morphology, surface chemistry, and reflective index, Silfermin FLS exhibits excellent anti-blocking performance with minimal impact upon barefoot optical properties. Supermag 150 is an efficient activator that is highly active, and has high surface area MgO. It is produced under a special processing condition, thereby resulting in controlled particle size distribution. Supermag 150 is a high active magnesium oxide mainly used as an acid scavenger, scorch retarder, or curing agent during the cross-linking of several rubber compounds containing halogens or nitrile groups. Examples include chloroprene rubber and synthetics rubber (FKM, CIIR, BIIR, CPE).
