Kolliwax® SA fine

Kolliwax® SA fine is a white to slightly yellowish waxy substance derived from natural resources such as coconut oil, palm kernel oil, and/or palm stearine. It consists of stearyl alcohol 50, which has various applications. It can be used as a co-emulsifier and consistency factor in topical pharmaceutical applications. Moreover, it functions as excipients in solid oral dosage forms, for instance, as matrix formers and lubricants. Its functions include acting as a co-emulsifier, lubricant, and viscosity modifier. It is available in various dosage forms, such as creams, ointments, lotions, and gels.
