FoamStar® ED 2522 is a high-performance, ultra-low SVOC silicone emulsion defoamer for premium water-based paints, clear coats, and inks. It provides excellent foam suppression during grinding and application, retains antifoam efficiency during storage, and is easy to incorporate without the use of strong shear forces. Its chemical nature involves an emulsion of organo-modified silicones.

Hydropalat® SL 3682 is an innovative anti-marring agent designed for waterborne coatings, clearcoats, and waterborne inks. This product, belonging to the siloxanes and silicones chemical family, boasts ethylbenzene-free and tin-free labeling claims. Hydropalat® SL 3682 ensuresn resistance, good compatibility, blocking resistance, improved slip resistance, low foaming, and excellent scratch resistance.

Efka® SL 3031 is a slip and leveling agent that improves mar resistance, increases slip and surface smoothness, prevents cratering, and decreases the tendency to pigments' floating and sensitivity to air drafts. The chemical nature is organically modified polysiloxane, compatible with all medium- to high-polarity solvent-based systems.

Hydropalat® WE 3220 is a silicone surfactant that improves substrate wetting in aqueous systems. It exhibits excellent wetting properties in aqueous industrial, wood, automotive, and exterior paints and coatings, with a strong reduction of surface tension and no increase in surface slip. It has a minor impact on inter-coat adhesion and recoatability, and it is solvent-free.

Efka® SI 2022 is a silicone-based defoamer suitable for both solvent-based and solvent-free coatings. It prevents the formation of foam and blisters during manufacturing and application. It is recommended for two-pack systems based on polyurethane and epoxy resins, especially suited for polyurethane-based curtain coating finishes, and baking enamels based on alkyd resins or saturated polyesters.

Efka® SL 3033 is a highly effective additive that increases slip and surface smoothness. With excellent compatibility properties, it is suitable for use in clear coatings. It improves leveling, scratch and abrasion resistance, prevents floating, enhances anti-blocking characteristics, and prevents cratering.

Efka® SI 2723 acts as a defoamer, developed for the rapid de-aeration of solvent-free polyurethane and epoxy compounds. It yields excellent results in flooring applications, ensuring foam- and blister-free self-leveling coatings. Additionally, it acts as a leveling agent, contributing to a smooth coating surface, all while maintaining a low odor. Its chemical nature consists of a solution of defoaming substances containing silicone.

Hydropalat® WE 3225 is a silicone-based wetting agent with notable defoaming properties. It exhibits excellent substrate wetting and compatibility within aqueous coating formulations. This product presents a pronounced defoaming action, specifically designed for various types of aqueous coating formulations. It seamlessly merges outstanding compatibility and wetting capabilities with efficient defoaming properties.

Efka® SL 3236 functions as a slip and leveling agent, being an organically modified polysiloxane soluble in various solvents. It improves general surface characteristics and is recommended for non-aqueous coatings like baking enamels, acid-curable or polyurethane wood finishes.

SILRES® BS 43 N is a water-dilutable silicone resin emulsion primarily used as a binder in the production of silicone resin emulsion paints and silicone resin plasters. It serves as the main binder in these formulations, playing a crucial role in their performance. When properly formulated with SILRES® BS 43 N, the resulting products exhibit several desirable characteristics. They demonstrate high permeability to water vapor and CO2, allowing for effective moisture and gas exchange. Additionally, these products have low water absorption coefficients, which help minimize water ingress and potential damage.

SILRES® BS 45 is a water-dilutable, solventless emulsion of a silicone resin that serves as a binder in the production of silicone resin emulsion paints and plasters. It is primarily used as the main binder in these formulations, playing a crucial role in their performance. The use of SILRES® BS 45 also contributes to low water absorption, which helps to minimize water ingress and enhance the durability of the coatings and plasters. SILRES® WH is a water-thinnable, solventless emulsion of a functional silicone resin. Dilute solutions of SILRES® WH are used as high-quality water repellents for impregnating wood surfaces. Undiluted SILRES® WH can also be used as a high-quality hydrophobizing additive for aqueous wood coatings and wood stains.

SILRES® BS 6042 is a solventless, water-dilutable emulsion of a modified silicone resin that is specifically designed to be used as a standalone silicone in the production of silicone resin emulsion paints and plasters. When incorporated into coatings, SILRES® BS 6042 imparts several beneficial properties. These include long-lasting reduced water absorption, efficient resistance to early rain, and high water vapor permeability. SILRES® BS 310 is a solventless emulsion that can be thinned with water. It consists of polysiloxane modified with a functional silicone resin. This product is specifically designed to be added to aqueous masonry coatings and primers, either during or after their manufacture. When used undiluted, SILRES® BS 310 serves as an additive for aqueous indoor paints or coatings. Its purpose is to enhance the workability of the paint or coating, resulting in improved application properties. This product is highly compatible with indoor paints and has a positive influence on wetting and leveling properties.

SILRES® BS 50 is a solvent-free, water-thinnable emulsion of a special blend of silicone resin and polydimethylsiloxane. It is recommended as an additive for porous masonry coatings to make them water-repellent. SILRES® BS 50 is particularly suitable for silicate emulsion paints and plasters.

SILRES® BS 54 is a water-dilutable, solventless emulsion of a silicone resin that serves as a binder in the manufacturing of silicone resin emulsion paints and plasters. It is specifically utilized as a binder in silicone resin emulsion paints and renders. When formulated correctly, products incorporating SILRES® BS 54 exhibit desirable characteristics such as high permeability to water vapor and CO2, low water absorption, low susceptibility to soiling, a mineral-like appearance, and an extended lifespan. Additionally, the use of SILRES® BS Additive helps achieve an excellent beading effect. For optimal protection, it is recommended to prime facades before applying paint.

SILRES® SY 231 is a solventless, liquid, reactive, methoxyfunctional methyl-phenyl polysiloxane with a narrow molecular weight distribution. It is utilized for enhancing the weather and heat resistance of organic resins. This product can be employed as a cold blend additive, where it is directly mixed with the organic resins, or as a chemically bound intermediate, where it is chemically incorporated into the structure of organic polymers. By incorporating SILRES® SY 231, the resulting materials exhibit improved resistance to weathering and heat, making them suitable for applications requiring enhanced durability and performance.

SILRES® BS 1360 is a nonionic, solvent-free, water-dilutable emulsion of a reactive polysiloxane. It can be added in undiluted form to aqueous masonry protection agents either during or after their production. Similar to SILRES® BS 1346, SILRES® BS 1360 is used undiluted as a hydrophobizing additive for aqueous masonry paints. Its primary functions are to enhance water repellency, water resistance, water vapor permeability, processability, and anti-blocking properties.

SILRES® BS 1306 is a solventless, water-thinnable emulsion of polysiloxane modified with functional silicone resin. It can also be used as a water-repellent primer, in which case it should be diluted with water at a ratio of 1 part SILRES® BS 1306 to 9 parts water. If the primer is required to strengthen the substrate, we recommend adding a polymer dispersion in hydrosol form.

SILRES® IC 678 is a solventless, reactive, methoxyfunctional phenyl polysiloxane with a narrow molecular weight distribution. This solvent-free liquid resin is specifically designed to enhance the weathering and heat resistance of organic resins. It is highly suitable for incorporating a compatible silicone component into other binder systems, thereby increasing their weathering or heat resistance properties. By adding SILRES® IC 678 to binder formulations, the overall performance and durability of the resulting materials can be significantly improved.

SILRES® BS 710 is a permanent anti-graffiti coating designed to protect concrete, masonry, wood, and pre-existing coatings. It is based on polyorganosiloxanes and provides excellent performance against exterior elements such as rain, sun, and temperature extremes. SILRES® BS 710 is a single-component product that cures at room temperature with ambient moisture. The cured coating offers excellent release properties and ease of removal for most permanent markers and aerosol paints.

SILRES® BS 60 is a water-dilutable, solventless emulsion of a silicone resin that serves as a binder in the production of silicone resin emulsion paints and plasters. It is primarily used as the main binder in silicone resin emulsion paints and renders. When formulated correctly, products utilizing SILRES® BS 60 exhibit desirable properties, including high permeability to water vapor and CO2, low water absorption, low susceptibility to soiling, a mineral-like appearance, and a long lifespan. These characteristics contribute to the overall performance and durability of the finished products.

SILRES® BS 1310 is a solvent-free, water-thinnable emulsion of polysiloxane modified with functional silicone resin. It is an additive used in the production of aqueous masonry coatings and aqueous primers to enhance water repellency and resistance. Additionally, it improves the processability and antiblocking characteristics of the aqueous coatings.

SILRES® BS SMK 2101 is a solventless silicone microemulsion concentrate based on silanes and siloxanes that is diluted with water to yield a microemulsion. Dilute aqueous solutions of SILRES® BS SMK 2101 are high-quality specialty water repellents for hydrophobic impregnation and priming normal and reinforced concrete, as well as water resisting admixtures for non-load-bearing manufactured concrete products.

ALBIDUR® EP 5340 A is a concentrated dispersion, containing 40% high-performance elastomer within a cycloaliphatic epoxy resin (EEC). This product plays a vital role as a toughness modifier, particularly suited for rigid and brittle epoxy resin systems. The elastomeric component consists of a specialized silicone rubber, intricately distributed within the liquid resin as an extremely finely dispersed second phase.

SILRES® IC 701 is an anti-graffiti coating intended for use in the professional market for the protection of concrete, masonry, and metal substrates. The cured coating provides excellent release and ease of removal for permanent markers and aerosol paints. SILRES® IC 701 is based on polysiloxane polymers and provides excellent performance against exterior elements such as rain, sun, and temperature extremes. It cures via the condensation reaction at room temperature by reacting with ambient moisture.

SILRES® BS 168 is a water-based, solvent-free, and silicone-based pH adjuster that is specifically used in waterborne emulsion paints. It serves the purpose of improving pH adjustment and wet abrasion resistance in paint formulations. This product is particularly suitable for formulating low VOC (volatile organic compound) and low odor paints, meeting the requirements for environmentally friendly and sustainable coating solutions. By using SILRES® BS 168, paint manufacturers can achieve effective pH adjustment while maintaining excellent wet abrasion resistance properties.

SILRES® WH 100 A is a water-reducible, solvent-free emulsion of a functional silicone resin. It is a water-based product that offers several properties and benefits. Additionally, it significantly reduces capillary water absorption, providing protection against moisture. SILRES WH 100 A can be used over various substrates, including metals, concrete, and others, to impart its water-repellent properties.

SILRES® SY 300 is a reactive, silanol-functional phenyl-propyl polysiloxane that serves as a solventless solid resin for modifying organic resins. It is specifically recommended for the production of air-drying silicone alkyds that comply with U.S. Federal Specifications TT-E-490 E/3 and TT-E-1593B.

SILRES® BS 16 is an aqueous solution of potassium methyl siliconate used in diluted form for the hydrophobic impregnation of mineral construction materials, making them water-repellent. The water-repellent properties of SILRES® BS 16 are developed through its reaction with atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO2), forming polymethylsilicic acid. However, it should be noted that, like all siliconates, SILRES® BS 16 may cause a white deposit on the surface of colored construction materials if used outside the recommended application guidelines.

SILRES® BS 1346 is a nonionic, solvent-free, water-dilutable emulsion of a reactive polysiloxane. It is used in its undiluted form as a hydrophobizing additive for aqueous masonry paints or plasters. Its purpose is to increase water repellency, water resistance, and water vapor permeability while also enhancing processability and antiblocking properties.

SILRES® WH 101 A is a water-reducible, solvent-free emulsion of a functional silicone resin. It can be applied as-is or as a formulated product to serve as a water-repellent treatment. SILRES WH 101 A improves substrate longevity when applied over wood or many other materials.

SILRES® BS 1340 is a nonionic, solvent-free, waterborne emulsion of a reactive polysiloxane. It is specifically used in the formulation of water-resistant coatings. SILRES® BS 1340 can be directly incorporated, without dilution, into waterborne masonry paints and plasters either during or after their production.
