Amphokem CADP is a biodegradable high foaming amphoteric surfactant containing both carboxyl and amino groups in its chemical structure. Due to it’s amphoteric nature, in acidic solutions a quaternary ammonium salt is formed resulting in cationic properties. In alkaline conditions it forms a carboxylic salt which gives the product a anioinic behavior. Between the pH limits (approximately 2.5 to 4.5) the cationic and anionic properties are balanced and a “Zwitterion” is formed. This pH range is known as the isoelectric range, within which Amphokem CADP exhibits minimum foaming, wetting and solubility properties.

Amphokem CAPB is a biodegradable Cocamidopropyl Betaine with low odor and acts as a foam stabilizer and viscosity builder for anionic based cleaners.

Lansurf TA15 is a nonionic surfactant produced by the alkoxylation of ethylene oxide with tallow amine. This product has good compatibility with other nonionic, anionic, cationic and amphoteric surfactants. Lansurf TA15 finds application in a variety of industries such as textiles, paints, metal working, agriculture and polish manufacture. In particular Lansurf TA15 is used in textile applications as a leveling agent and anti-precipitant and is used as a primary wetting agent in acid and alkaline formulations for metal cleaning and the stripping of surface coating.

The base acid for Kemsurf CA is manufactured by SO3 sulphonation to produce a product of good color and low inorganic content. Kemsurf CA is a hydrophobic anionic surfactant and functions as an emulsifier for oils and aromatic solvents in the formulation of degreasers. It finds many applications, however, as an emulsifier for pesticide and herbicide systems, especially were spray application is involved. Kemsurf CA may also be used in the emulsification of waxes and hydrocarbon solvents. This product has good compatibility with other anionics and nonionic surfactants and maintains good stability, detergency, foaming power and soil suspension in alkaline, mild acid, low electrolyte and in hard or soft water.

This product finds application in many cleaning applications where low foaming is required such a machine dishwash applications, metal cleaning and bottle rinse formulations. Also, this product can be used in such areas as textiles, oils and lubricants, agrochemicals and paints and polymers.

Lansurf AEP63 is a biodegradable nonionic surfactant produced by the reaction of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide on a synthetic primary fatty alcohol. This product is compatible with soaps, anionic, cationic and other nonionic surfactants, and wetting, detergency and low foam. This product finds application in many cleaning applications where low foaming is required such a machine dish wash application, metal cleaning and bottle rinse formulations. Also, this product can be used in such areas as textiles, oils and lubricants, agrochemicals and paints and polymers.

Lanphos TEP4K is a phosphate ester manufactured using polyphosphoric acid resulting in a product that is predominantly mono-ester. The main advantage of a phosphate ester over a conventional anionic is it’s excellent stability in high concentration of acid, alkali and electrolyte. Lanphos TEP4K is supplied in neutral form as a potassium salt and behaves as a hydrotrope for the solubilisation of both anionic and nonionic surfactants into high concentration of electrolyte.

Kemsurf DSA is fatty alcohol sulfate neutralized as a sodium salt. This product offers good detergency and wetting and is mainly used in cosmetic and toiletry applications. This product is compatible with other anionic and nonionic surfactants. However, as with other products of this chemical type, they tend to hydrolyse in acidic environments. Kemsurf DSA can also be used in the production of Poly Vinyl Chloride (PVC) via emulsion polymerisation.

Kemsurf ESD is an excellent detergent, it does not show a loss of detergency in brine or hard water. The good solubility characteristics make them especially useful for use in alkaline liquid formulations. It is excellent foaming agent. It shows a pronounced thickening with the addition of sodium chloride to a dilute solution. It is stable to hard water and has excellent lime soap dispersing properties, due to the calcium salt being soluble. Product is prone to hydrolysis in aqueous solution at acid pH and high temperatures (not suitable for use above 50°C).

Lanphos PE107 is a phosphate ester specifically developed to provide excellent stability in high alkali and electrolyte systems, providing excellent detergency wetting and corrosion inhibition. Lanphos PE107 can also be used to couple nonionic surfactants into liquid alkali detergents.
