Rheovis® PU 1256 is a polyurethane-based associative thickener, serving as a solvent-free, non-ionic, mid-shear rheology modifier for aqueous coatings. It imparts pseudoplastic behavior to aqueous systems, showcasing pH-independent thickening. This modifier improves flow and gloss, increases hiding power, and provides wash and scrub resistances, along with outstanding spatter resistance during roller application. Its chemical nature involves a polyurethane polymer in water/diluent.
