Dragonpovol Polyvinyl Alcohol (17-99 Grade) is a normal band of the PVA family, which can generally be used as an equivalent for BF-17, PVA-117, and N-300, some famous bands in the market. It has been widely used as a glue & adhesive in construction, paper manufacturing as well as other industries for binding materials. It can also be used as a surface sizing agent in textiles, because of the low surface tension it may induce between two phases. Due to the active -OH groups in the chemical structure, it can be used as a modifier for Urea melamine resins which is a typical binder for plywood by aldol condensation between -OH and aldehydes.

Dragonpovol Polyvinyl Alcohol (26-99 Grade) is a normal band of the PVA family, which can generally be used as an equivalent for BF-26, the benchmark band in the market. It has been widely used in the adhesive industry for applications such as paper-tube glue, building glue in construction, ceramic binder, etc. This product can also be used as a stabilizer in PVAc emulsion dispersion or urea formaldehyde glue manufacturing.

It has been widely used as a glue & adhesive in construction, woodworking, paper, and other industries for binding materials. It can also be used as a surface sizing agent in textiles, because of the low surface tension it may induce between two phases.

Dragonpovol Polyvinyl Alcohol (24-88 Grade) is a typical band of the PVA family, which is a good substitute for BP-24, PVA-224E, and GH-20/22/23, some famous bands used in the market. It can be used as glue & adhesive to disperse and bind construction materials such as concrete, mortar, plaster, etc. Due to the active -OH and -COOR groups in the chemical structure, it can reduce the surface tension of water solution to a large extent. It can be used as a primary dispersant in PVC suspension production, which in return boosts the bulk density of the PVC product.

It can also be used as a surface sizing agent in textiles, because of its good ability to form a membrane on the textile surface. Due to the active -OH and -COOR groups in the chemical structure, it can reduce the surface tension of water solution to a large extent, which in return can be used as a dispersant in PVC suspension polymerization production.

Ultiloc 5003 has proven to be one of the more popular and interesting products in the Ultiloc series. It exhibits enhanced adhesion characteristics to many substrates including corona treated BOPP and BOPET, and is often used in flexible packaging film, contributing to a reduction in layers and decreased gage weight. Ultiloc 5003 also has well established superior gas barrier performance allowing it to be considered an acceptable replacement for alternative barrier technologies.

KURARAY POVAL™ 29-99 by Kuraray is a fully hydrolyzed polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) grade. It exhibits good bonding strength and pigment binding capacity. It is used as an adhesive promoter. It is designed for modification of emulsion adhesives and remoistenable adhesives in the paper processing industry. It provides good cohesion and adhesion to fibers, fillers and pigments. Aqueous solution of KURARAY POVAL™ 29-99 can be added to polymer emulsion which is already stabilized with polyvinyl alcohol to extend the open time, increase setting speed and influence the rheology. This grade is suitable for use in postage stamps and labels.

KURARAY POVAL™ 27-96 by Kuraray is a medium hydrolyzed polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) grade. It exhibits good bonding strength and pigment binding capacity. It is used as an adhesive promoter. It provides good cohesion and adhesion to fibers, fillers and pigments. This grade is used in postage stamps and labels. It is designed for modification of emulsion adhesives and remoistenable adhesives in the paper processing industry. Aqueous solution of KURARAY POVAL™ 27-96 can be added to polymer emulsion which is already stabilized with polyvinyl alcohol to extend the open time, increase setting speed and influence the rheology.

KURARAY POVAL™ 49-88 S2 is polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) grade by Kuraray. It is used as an adhesive promoter. It is suitable for modification of emulsion adhesives and remoistenable adhesives in the paper processing industry. It is a water-soluble polymer manufactured by alcoholysis of polyvinyl acetate. Aqueous solution of KURARAY POVAL™ 49-88 S2 can be added to polymer emulsion which is already stabilized with polyvinyl alcohol to extend the open time, increase setting speed and influence the rheology. It is used in postage stamps and labels. Complies with EU Directive 67/548/EC regulation. It can be stored for 12 months.

KURARAY POVAL™ 30-92 by Kuraray is a fully saponified polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) grade. It exhibits good cohesion and adhesion to fibers, fillers and pigments. It offers good bonding strength and pigment binding capacity. KURARAY POVAL™ 30-92 is recommended to produce paper adhesives. It is suitable for pressure sensitive labels. Complies with EU Directive 67/548/EC regulation.

KURARAY POVAL™ 25-88 KL by Kuraray is a water-soluble polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) specialty grade manufactured by alcoholysis of polyvinyl acetate. It exhibits high molecular weight, good cohesion, good adhesion to fibers-, fillers- and pigments. It has a good affinity to hydrophobic substances such as polyester, polystyrene etc. as well as a good water solubility. KURARAY POVAL™ 25-88 KL is recommended for adhesives.

KURARAY POVAL™ 10-98 (formerly Mowiol® 10-98) by Kuraray is a fully saponified, odorless, water-soluble polyvinyl alcohol manufactured by alcoholysis of polyvinyl acetate. Shows varying degree of polymerization and hydrolysis. Its aqueous solution can be added to polymer emulsions already stabilized with polyvinyl alcohol which affects the extension of the open time, setting speed and rheology. Exhibits good penetration capacity and good adhesion properties. Offers high cohesion & toughness, low electrostatic charging and re-dissolving capacity of the dried film in water. KURARAY POVAL™ 10-98 is suitable for use in pressure sensitive adhesive labels. Complies with EU Directive 67/548/EC.

KURARAY POVAL™ 6-98 by Kuraray is a polyvinyl alcohol. It is a fully saponified, odorless, water-soluble polymer manufactured by alcoholysis of polyvinyl acetate. Shows varying degree of polymerization and hydrolysis. Its aqueous solution can be added to polymer emulsions already stabilized with polyvinyl alcohol which affects the extension of the open time, setting speed and rheology. Exhibits good penetration capacity and good adhesion properties. Offers high cohesion & toughness, low electrostatic charging and re-dissolving capacity of the dried film in water. KURARAY POVAL™ 6-98 is designed for use in pressure sensitive adhesive labels. Complies with EU Directive 67/548/EC.

KURARAY POVAL™ 2-98 by Kuraray is polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) having varying degree of polymerization and hydrolysis. It is a water-soluble polymer manufactured by alcoholysis of polyvinyl acetate. It is notable for its good bonding strength and pigment binding capacity because PVAs have such good cohesion and good adhesion to fibers, fillers as well as pigments. KURARAY POVAL™ 2-98 features excellent film forming characteristics, high tensile strength and elasticity, as well as resistance against organic solvents and dispersing power. For the modification of aqueous adhesives its aqueous solution can be added to polymer emulsions already stabilized with polyvinyl alcohol which affects the extension of the open time, increase of the setting speed and influence on the rheology. It is biodegradable and recyclable. KURARAY POVAL™ 2-98 is used in adhesives which are employed mainly in the paper processing industry.

KURARAY POVAL™ 32-88 is a partially saponified polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) grade by Kuraray. It possesses good cohesion and adhesion to fibers, fillers and pigments. It offers good bonding strength and pigment binding capacity. It is suitable for modification of emulsion adhesives and remoistenable adhesives in the paper processing industry. Aqueous solution of KURARAY POVAL™ 32-88 can be added to polymer emulsion which is already stabilized with polyvinyl alcohol to extend the open time, increase setting speed and influence the rheology. It is recommended for use in postage stamps and labels. Complies with EU Directive 67/548/EC regulation.

KURARAY POVAL™ 95-88 (Old name: Poval® PVA 235) by Kuraray is polyvinyl alcohol. The range of applications is based on the chemical properties, especially on the reactivity of the numerous hydroxyl groups with substances such as reactive resins, aldehydes and other reactive compounds. Used as a component of remoistenable adhesives, e.g. for postage stamps, partially hydrolyzed polyvinyl alcohol grades ensure that the adhesive strength is not impaired even in fluctuating air humidity. Exhibits specific colloid-chemical and excellent film-forming properties, and a high tensile strength.

KURARAY POVAL™ 44-88 S2 by Kuraray is a fine powder polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) grade. It is used as an adhesive promoter.
