ELASTOSIL® M silicone rubber has been the ideal solution for the production of molds that are highly elastic and have excellent release properties and optimum durability. These invaluable processing properties make ELASTOSIL® M indispensable, to both industrial and artisan mold makers.

ELASTOSIL® M

SILFAR® is the name of WACKER’s range of silicone-based products specifically intended for the pharmaceutical and food industries, as well as for use in fermentation and other biotech processes. SILFAR® products feature outstanding chemical resistance. They are not resorbed in the digestive tract, and are therefore not metabolized. They are colorless and odorless.

WACKER’s CAVAQ10® is a highly bioavailable coenzyme Q10 powder. This fat-soluble, vitamin-like substance is a known antioxidant. Coenzyme Q10 has been associated with improved cardiovascular health and supporting optimum fuctioning of the cardiac muscle. However, many commercial products do not offer adequate bioavailability. WACKER’s cyclodextrin-encapsulated CAVAQ10® powder, by contrast, has an 18-fold higher bioavailability compared to other CoQ10 products.

BELSIL® is an extensive range of premium-grade silicones intended specifically for personal care applications, and more especially for hair care, skin care, color cosmetics, and deodorants. BELSIL® products are developed and manufactured in the highest quality and with utmost care, ensuring that the formulations are highly efficient and reliable. With BELSIL®, you can tailor your hair-care or skin-care formulations or color cosmetics to obtain end products that are not only competitive but also meet the needs of the market.

CAVACURMIN® is a highly bioavailable curcumin complex that is around 40 times more efficiently absorbed than standard turmeric extract. The complexation with the naturally occurring oligasaccharide gamma-cyclodextrin results in a free-flowing, easily dispersible powder.

SEMICOSIL® 986/1K is a thermally curable, one-part silicone rubber known for its non-slump properties. It is a ready-to-use system, requiring no additional mixing. The silicone rubber is thixotropic in nature and exhibits a translucent appearance. SEMICOSIL® 986/1K possesses medium hardness and high flexibility, making it suitable as a low-stress adhesive. It offers primerless adhesion to various substrates. Furthermore, this silicone rubber undergoes rapid heat curing and features ultraviolet fluorescence properties.

ELASTOSIL® R 402/60 US is a high-consistency silicone rubber (HCR) that is known for its high transparency and good mechanical properties. This product has a high green strength, making it suitable for the production of complex extruded profiles. Its vulcanizing characteristics allow for short cycle times in the manufacturing of rubber moldings through compression, transfer, and injection molding processes. The post-cured vulcanizates of this product are suitable for applications in the health care and food handling industries. ELASTOSIL® R 402/60 US is formulated with ingredients that are suitable for food contact applications, complying with Title 21 "Food and Drugs," Part 177.2600, which regulates rubber articles intended for repeated use. However, it is the responsibility of the user to ensure compliance with this regulation due to its limitations.

ELASTOSIL® RT 707 W is a flowable, one-part, heat-curing silicone used for potting and coating applications. The cured material demonstrates very good adhesion to many substrates and long-term stability against weathering, moisture, and UV light. The cured silicone rubber can continuously withstand constantly changing climatic conditions, UV radiation, and temperatures as high as 230°C (446°F) without sustaining damage.

ELASTOSIL® R Plus 4050/55 MH 9005 is an addition-cure, one-component high consistency silicone rubber specifically designed for the manufacture of molded articles. The vulcanizates of this silicone rubber exhibit excellent heat stability. ELASTOSIL® R Plus 4050/55 MH 9005 is suitable for various household applications.

ELASTOSIL® 4710 is a 100% silicone, one-component, acid-curing silicone sealant for sealing joints in food and drinking water contact applications. This versatile product cures at room temperature in the presence of atmospheric moisture to form a permanently flexible silicone rubber.

ELASTOSIL® LR 3003/80 US A/B is a liquid silicone rubber of the ELASTOSIL® LR 3003/80 US A/B series. It is a paste-like, easily pigmentable two-component compound noted for its high transparency, excellent mechanical and electrical properties, and ability to be molded into intricately shaped, precision parts. It is used for health care applications, including short-term implants. Very brief molding cycles for intricately shaped and flash-free parts are possible.

ELASTOSIL® Color Paste PT Light Blue RAL 5015 is a ready-to-use compound comprising specific color pigments and a reactive silicone polymer, which is commonly used in ELASTOSIL® high-consistency silicone rubber. This ensures a homogeneous covulcanization of the color paste without interference of the physical properties (e.g. hardness) and without migration as observed with silicone oil.

WACKER® AK 100 000 STAB is a linear, non-reactive polydimethylsiloxane with a viscosity of approximately 100,000 mm²/s. It is formulated with a special heat stabilizer that safeguards the silicone fluid from thermal decomposition and viscosity fluctuations. As a result, WACKER® AK 100 000 STAB is particularly well-suited for applications involving high temperatures and/or shear stress. It is a non-polar liquid with a low solidification point and exhibits good dielectric properties.

VINNAPAS® EN 1028 is a self-crosslinking, aqueous polymer dispersion based on the monomers vinyl acetate and ethylene. It is manufactured without the use of plasticizers. This product is specifically designed to serve as a binder for soft hydrophobic nonwovens, providing them with high wet strength. Moreover, VINNAPAS® EN 1028 is an ideal choice as a binder for nonwovens that need to meet rigorous eco-labeling requirements.

It offers excellent control over adhesion force along with a tight adhesion force profile. This product utilizes a thermal-curing system and achieves curing at a web temperature range of 90-200 °C.

DEHESIVE® 811 is a solvent-based condensation-curing silicone specifically recommended for release coatings. It exhibits good release stability after post cure and provides excellent anchorage to a wide variety of substrates. This product is suitable for coating PE-laminated paper, polyester films (PET), and papers.
