- Cosmetic Properties
- The lysate, thanks to its aminoacid composition and to its carefully selected average molecular weight (≤3500 D), possesses a high affinity both with hair and skin keratins.
- For its well known film-forming /protective properties it represents the best vegetable alternative to collagen lysates in minimizing the potential irritating effects of anionic detergents (SLS, SLES) in cleansing formulations.

- Applications
- The recognized functional and technical properties generally associated to wheat protein lysates (vegetable alternative to collagen hydrolysates) suggest the use of Granosol 100 in a wide range of personal care and hair-care products.
- Many studies have put in evidence co-emulsifying properties for wheat protein lysates with an average molecular weight similar to Granosol 100. Such property, together with the acknowledged moisturizing capability of protein hydrolysates, justifies the use of the lysate in skin-care formulations such as body and cleansing creams.
- Bath and shower gels, revitalizing hair balms and shampoos, moisturizing emulsions, anti age cosmetic products.
