Casamid™ 790A is used in the production of gloss reduced epoxy and hybrid powder coatings. Epoxy coatings of gloss level ranging from 20 to 30% and hybrid coatings with gloss levels ranging from 30 to 60% (or greater) may easily be formulated by the use of Casamid™ 790A. Coatings produced with Casamid™ 790A are characterized by exceptional color & gloss stability under overbake conditions. Minimum cure schedule recommended is 12 minutes at 190°C (metal temperature).
