MOCOM Compounds ALCOM® LDX PC 1000 UV 14062 WT1140-14 is a translucent, light-scattering extrusion grade polycarbonate with a special filler and UV stabilized additive system. It is suitable for applications such as lighting, light-transparent components, and lamp covers. Pre-drying involves 120°C in a dry air (dessiccant) dryer for 2-4 hours, or 120°C in an air circulating dryer for 4-12 hours, with a maximum moisture content of less than 0.02%. Processing requires a melt temperature of 240-280°C and should be protected from light.
