ML Campbell High Performance WB Production Lacquer Sealer is a technically advanced single component clear sealer designed for interior wood millwork surfaces. It is based on European acrylic copolymer resin technology that offers fast dry, low VOC, HAPS Free formula designed for air dry and forced dry production application. HP WB Production Lacquer Sealer is ideal for quick application and features an easy sanding formula that provides a flat sealed surface for HP WB Production Lacquer topcoats.

Application

Application Procedure

Apply one coat of DesignRclassic Lacquer Sealer at 3-5 wet mils maximum. Sand with 220 to 320 grit sandpaper before applying 1-2 coats of DesignRclassic Lacquer Clear Topcoat.

Note: Hot spray application is not recommended. If hot spray equipment is used, temperature setting should never be over 110°F.

Mixing

Shake or stir well before and during use.

Equipment Clean Up

  • Use lacquer thinner or VC16936 Fast Reducer VOC Exempt to clean up all equipment.
  • Dispose of dirty solvent and cleaning rags in a safe and approved manner.
  • Solvent or lacquer soaked rags should be stored in a water filled, closed containers prior to disposal

Surface Preparation

  • New Work: Remove any dirt, grease or other contamination and sand as required.
  • Old Work: Strip old finishes completely and remove all contaminants from the surface. Make sure surface is dry. Finish as new work.

Reduction

No reduction is required; however, small amounts of lacquer thinner may be used if required for specific equipment. If blushing occurs use up to 5% M.L. Campbell C1621 Care Reducer or 1-3% M.L. Campbell C16336 BC Retarder.

Testing

Due to the wide variety of substrates, surface preparation methods, application methods, and environments, customers should test the complete system for adhesion and compatibility under their conditions prior to full-scale application.
