EMULTROL CV-1485 PL is an aqueous wax emulsion, based on carnauba wax. This wax emulsion serves as modifying agent at the production of aqueous varnish and coating systems. It is very suitable for the production of metal and wood varnishes, leather varnishes and leather finishes as well as for leather and textile colorants. EMULTROL CV-1485 PL is also an optimal additive product for polishes. By additions of this additive, a very good gloss grade, good non-sticking properties and good water-resistancy are achieved in the coating films. The particle size of the emulsion is in the area < 1 µm, whereby the product is also very suitable for impregnations, where a high impregnation effect resp. well penetration in the surfaces is required. EMULTROL CV-1485 PL fulfills the requirements according to the food law.

Compatibility

EMULTROL CV-1485 PL is well compatible with all aqueous dispersions and binding agent systems in a wide pH area. For the further dilution of the product, water or organic solvents can be used, depending on the area of application. The compatibility with other additives and fillers in coating products is well given.

Precautions

Do not store outdoors. Aqueous product. Protect from frost to avoid irreversible damages. Keep in sealed containers at temperatures between 15°C and 35°C. Before the opening of the containers, stir them well. At a longer storage time a slight separation may occur. The usual precautions for chemicals should be taken for its handling and its transport.

The shelf life of the product EMULTROL CV-1485 PL ist at least 6 months at an appropriate, dry and cool storage in the original bunches. The product has to be protected against frost. The optimal storage temperature is between 15°C and 35°C.
