Blue light radiating from cell phones or computers or UVB radiation from the sun can deeply penetrate the skin and damage the dermis.

Dehyquart® H 81 is a polyglycol-polyamine condensation resin with a pseudo-cationic character that positively influences hair products. Plantaren® 1300 N is a high-active nonionic surfactant that contains no solvents or hydrotypes. It is recommended as a co-surfactant in shampoos, shower gels, and bubble bath formulations where mildness is required. It is compatible with all other classes of surfactants and exhibits excellent biodegradability. When used in conjunction with difficult-to-thicken surfactants, such as sulfosuccinates, it enhances viscosity build-up and increases foam in low-foaming formulations. Furthermore, Plantaren® 1300 N enhances the deposition of cationic polymers from shampoo formulations, which can improve the conditioning effect.

Cutina® PES builds up good viscosity and stability of an o/w emulsion with different emulsifier systems (ionic and non-ionic), while at the same time creating a non-waxy and caring skin feel. It comes in off-white, wax-like pellets with a little intrinsic odor, and the consistency of wax with sensorial properties. Pluracare® L 64 G is a block copolymer of ethylene glycol and propylene glycol that is used as an emulsifier in a wide variety of areas, from cosmetics to oral care products. It has a cloud point of 58-62°C, an average molecular weight of approx. 2,900, and a viscosity of approx. 850 mPas. This block copolymer is anhydrous and non-corrosive. Therefore, mild steel can be used for storage tanks, piping and conventional process equipment.

Hydagen® Cat is a colorless, practically odorless liquid composed of Triethyl citrate, an active ingredient used in personal care products such as deodorants, antiperspirants, and personal care wipes. It has excellent deodorant properties and is supplied as an oily liquid.
