AV-290 Fast-Set™

1 of 1 products in this brand
AV-290 Fast-Set™ is a mid-range viscosity, dual component, hydrophobic MDI-based polyurethane resin designed to fill large voids on the exterior of below grade structures where high-water flow is present. Free rise expanding up to 2,600%, the fast-setting resin cures rigid, impermeable and closed-cell and can withstand wet/dry cycles.

How It Works

AV-290 is a dual-component hydrophobic resin that reacts within seconds and cured rigid, impermeable and closed-cell with nearly 2,600% the initial liquid volume. The two components of AV-290 (Part A and Part B) are mixed via static mixer at the point of injection and quickly produce a very rigid grout.

Ratio

1:1 (Part A to Part B)

Cleaning Products

• AV-208 Technical Grade Acetone™ (CAS# 67-64-1) – removes moisture from equipment
• AV-284 Pump Wash™ (Proprietary Blend) – removes uncured resin from pump and hose
• AV-222 Cleaner™ (Proprietary Blend) – removes cured resin from equipment

Mix Procedure

Avanti’s static mixers are recommended for use when using AV-290 via cartridge or pump system. Do not mix components in any unapproved container.

Performance

Flush equipment with AV-208 before and after use to remove moisture and clean equipment. Performance will be influenced by site conditions. If site temperatures are low, heat the product to recommended operating temperatures of 60°F – 90°F (16°C – 32°C). Do not use open flame as a heat source.
