Many of these products are low quality nanographite materials. These products are not true graphene materials and have between 10 and 100 layers. The higher the number of layers, the lower the surface area is, which translates to a lower performing product. These nanographite products are produced using toxic and energy intensive processes to convert graphite to graphene. These traditional products are also difficult to produce in large volumes.
