TYTAN™ APZ900
Chemical Family:
Zirconium Compounds
Functions:
Crosslinking Agent, Catalyst, Adhesion Promoter, Coupling Agent
Reaction Type:
Transesterification
Labeling Claims:
Food Contact Acceptable
TYTAN™ APZ900 is a zirconium complex with α-hydroxy acid ester that can be used as an adhesion promoter for printing, crosslinker for paints and as a catalyst for esterification. Due to its chelated structure, TYTAN™ APZ900 shows a delayed reaction at ambient temperature and thus facilitates the storage stability of inks. Compared with organo-titanate adhesion promoters, it shows good compatibility with PVB, CAB, and CAP inks and provides minimal discoloration during the sterilizing process in the printing of milk pouches.

TYTAN™ TNPZ
Chemical Family:
Alkoxides, Zirconium Compounds
Functions:
Catalyst, Adhesion Promoter, Coupling Agent, Crosslinking Agent
Reaction Type:
Transesterification
Applicable Processes:
Polymer Manufacturing, Condensation Polymerization, Polyolefin Manufacturing
TYTAN™ TNPZ is a highly reactive primary zirconate that hydrolyzes immediately upon contact with moisture. It is mainly used as a catalyst for esterification, trans-esterification, and olefin polymerization (Ziegler-Natta). TYTAN™ TNPZ is also an excellent adhesion promoter and cross-linking agent for hydroxylic compounds or heat and corrosion-resistant coatings. Furthermore, it is an important raw material for synthesizing various organozirconium compounds.

TYTAN™ TNBZ
Chemical Family:
Ketones, Zirconium Compounds, Zirconates
Functions:
Catalyst, Adhesion Promoter, Coupling Agent, Crosslinking Agent
Reaction Type:
Transesterification
Applicable Processes:
Ziegler Alcohol Manufacturing, Polymer Manufacturing, Condensation Polymerization, Polyolefin Manufacturing
TYTAN™ TNBZ is a very reactive primary zirconate that will hydrolyze immediately in contact with moisture. TYTAN™ TNBZ is mainly used as a catalyst for esterification, trans-esterification, and olefin polymerization (Ziegler-Natta). TYTAN™ TNBZ is very suitable as an adhesion-promoting and cross-linking agent for hydroxylic compounds or heat and corrosion-resistant coatings.

Luxfer MEL Technologies
Luxfer MEL Technologies Zirconium Acetate
Functions:
Catalyst, Crosslinking Agent, Binder, Coupling Agent, Adhesion Promoter
Chemical Family:
Acetates, Zirconium Compounds
Luxfer MEL Technologies Zirconium Acetate is a clear, colorless, mildly acidic solution containing approximately 22% ZrO₂. It is believed to contain neutral hydroxy-bridged zirconium species. This is beneficial for a wide variety of applications such as wax emulsions for waterproofing textile and fabrics, also used as a catalyst as it is great source of concentrated Zr ion and sodium chloride free. It is used for crosslinking and catalysis applications.
