Irganox® 1035 is a sulfur-containing, primary phenolic antioxidant, and heat stabilizer used for the processing stabilization of polyethylene wire and cable resins. PPI RD-594 is a layer of dry, heat-activated, heat curing adhesive suitable for overlap splicing of various materials including heavy gage woven fabrics (e.g. Jute for carpet manufacture, glass fabrics etc.). RD-594 is supplied on a siliconised paper interliner. Heat activation of the adhesive will form high shear strength bonds which can be improved upon curing of the adhesive. Recommended activation conditions range from 10-30 seconds at 180-230°C.
