Our coatings are PAAE polymers used on tissue paper machines for producing facial tissue, toilet tissue, towel and napkin. The product is sprayed on the Yankee in an aqueous solution together with a release agent.

SYNPRINT AC 1107 is a styrene-modified acrylic copolymer emulsion for high-gloss aqueous varnishes as well as flexographic and gravure inks. Formulations containing SYNPRINT AC 1107 can be adapted to the requirements of a variety of different applications. SYNPRINT AC 5121 is an acrylic polymer based on multiphase technology. This is a proprietary process that combines two different types of polymers in the same polymer network. It allows a balanced combination of the different polymer properties and an overall improvement of the physical properties of both polymers. SYNPRINT AC 5121 forms a film with high gloss, water resistance, rub resistance and printability with various types of inks. It also exhibits excellent adhesion to various substrates. SYNTRAN® DR 7011 is based on our polymeric surfactant technology. This technology was designed to improve wetting and incorporation of pigments or additives into water-based pigment concentrates and coatings. Used as a grinding resin in pigment dispersions, it improves color development of organic pigments and carbon black. Depending on the application and the objective, SYNTRAN® DR 7011 is typically used in concentrations between 10% and 30%. This technology combines two different crosslinking mechanisms on the same polymer backbone, substantially increasing the chemical resistance, water resistance and adhesion to multiple substrates. This technology was designed for the self- crosslinking mechanism to fully cure at room temperature while maintaining long-term shelf stability. Tramfloc® 148 is an anionic polyacrylamide of medium molecular weight and moderate charge density. Tramfloc® 148 is supplied as a stable, high density emulsion. Tramfloc® 148 is completely water soluble and produces high viscosity solutions at very low concentrations.

SYNPRINT AC 7150 is a water-based alkali-solubilised styrene-acrylic copolymer, used as an alkali-soluble resin in inks and overprint varnishes, to improve the gloss and leveling. It can also be used in pigment dispersions to improve color development and pigment dispersion gloss. Tramfloc® 133 is a nonionic polyacrylamide of very high molecular weight. Tramfloc® 133 is supplied as stable, high density emulsion. Tramfloc® 133 is completely water soluble and produces high viscosity solutions at very low concentrations. Tramfloc® 133 is used as general flocculant in a variety of industrial, mining, paper making and municipal sewage operations and is potable grade.

SYNPRINT AC 5151 is an acrylic polymer based on multiphase technology. This is a proprietary process that combines two different types of polymers in the same polymer network. It allows a balanced combination and an overall improvement of the physical properties of the two polymers. SYNPRINT AC 2910 is an inherently matte acrylic polymer. This technology produces a film with low gloss without additional use of waxes or powders and brings flexibility and excellent stability while providing excellent adhesion to various substrate types. It is recommended to be fortified with another resin such as SYNPRINT AC 5151 or similar to improve the overall film properties.
